Fine Arts Certificate Program

New York School of the Arts classes.jpg

Express your creativity and pursue your vision. In our school, you can extend your artistic limits through experimentation and discovery through our range of classes and subjects.

Classes have a low student-teacher ratio and a flexible schedule where students choose courses depending on what is needed to hone their individual talents. The curriculum focuses on students working directly in the studio with our faculty. Students choose courses depending on their concentration with guidance from the School Office and Faculty and pay per course.

Students have the opportunity to exhibit their work in our school exhibitions throughout the year as well as experience and collaborate with visiting art professionals such as art dealers, curators, and members of other prestigious art institutions. This will facilitate connections with New York City galleries and an immersion into the New York City art scene. This multifaceted experience provides our students with the comprehensive knowledge and support they need for a professional career in the arts.

Students can enroll for a two- or three-year program. In the two-year program, students must complete 18 hours per week for a total of 1,520 class hours. Students enrolled in the three-year program must complete 1,728 class hours. Please browse the course catalogue.

Estimated cost: $8,000.00 per year. No scholarships are offered for this program.
